Lessons From Iceland
Energy & Policy Updates from the Institute of the North

REAP is proud to announce our 2012-2013 Clean Energy Lecture Series. Join us on the second Wednesday of each month at the Anchorage Museum Auditorium from 6:00 to 8:00 pm for our FREE monthly forums on clean energy in Alaska.

Join us on December 12th, 2012 from 6:00 to 7:30 pm for a special edition of REAP’s Clean Energy Lecture Series. Co-hosted by the Institute of the North, December’s forum will focus on energy and infrastructure development in Iceland; highlighting what our Arctic neighbors have done to advance renewable energy in their country. Nils Andreassen, Executive Director of the Institute of the North, will report on the Institute’s recent policy tour of Iceland, and discuss how the country is developing geothermal and hydroelectric resources to support economic prosperity. Other speakers TBD.

From 7:30 to 8:00, forum attendees can enjoy complimentary refreshments and talk with other leaders who participated in the Iceland policy tour.
