AK EnergySmart Educator Workshop

Friday, April 27, 2012 • 5:00-9:00pm • Begich Middle School in Anchorage

  • Free to all educators on a first come first serve basis. Snacks provided.
  • Attendees will learn about energy science and energy efficiency and how to implement the AK EnergySmart lessons into their classrooms. Materials and lessons are correlated to the Alaska GLEs.

We encourage all educators interested in introducing hands-on energy education in their classroom to attend. To register, download and complete this form and return it to Courtney Munson at c.munson@realaska.org

Alaska Wind for Schools Educator Workshop sponsored by the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project

Saturday, April 28, 2012 • 8:30am -3:30pm • Begich Middle School in Anchorage

  • Free to all educators on a first come first serve basis. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
  • Attendees will learn about wind energy, wind generated electricity and the use of data produced from wind installations in their classrooms. Hands-on classroom materials will be available for loan from the Alaska Wind for Schools Program for all workshop attendees. Materials and lessons are correlated to the Alaska Learning Standards.
