KTUU-TV reporter Rhonda McBride interviews REAP Executive Director Chris Rose at the Business of Clean Energy in Alaska Conference.
Held annually, the Business of Clean Energy in Alaska (BCEA) conference brings together business, civic and government leaders from around the state, nation and the world in a strategic and educational forum to share information and ideas on moving Alaska toward a sustainable energy future. The two-day conference features multiple panel sessions and an exhibitor hallĀ open to the public.
Past conferences have featured renowned energy efficiency and renewable energy experts from around the country, including Dr. Dan Arvizu, Director of the National Renewable Energy Lab (NREL); Hunter Lovins, of Natural Capitalism Solutions, and Bryan Hannegan, of the Electric Power Research Institute. The conference is well attended by state policymakers, civic leaders, utilities, Native Corporations, businesses, and municipal and tribal officials.
Given the growing interest and momentum for the energy efficiency and renewable energy in Alaska, the Business of Clean Energy in Alaska conference offers an unmatched opportunity for business leaders, policy makers, researcher and others to learn about the opportunities in the renewable energy and energy efficiency fields, and to catalyze growth for clean energy development in Alaska.
