REAP Turned 15!
We had an anniversary celebration on August 28th at King Street Brewery replete with stories, auction, refreshment, and live music from Blackwater Railroad. Mayor Berkowitz and Senator Murkowski shared a few words and former Colorado Governor Bill Ritter, author of Powering Forward and Founder and Director of the Center for a New Energy Economy, spoke about his experience advancing clean energy in the state of Colorado. Thanks to the nearly 300 ticket holders, sponsors, Energy Visionaries, auction winners and donors, we raised over $30,000 to support REAP’s education and advocacy efforts to continue to power Alaska’s clean energy future
