Alaska’s clean energy future depends on available resources, policies, financing options, and Alaskans.

Technology cannot exist in a vacuum. People are necessary to operate, maintain and optimize it over time; there must be money to purchase it; and governments, like they do for most of the important things in our lives, make policy decisions that reflect a society’s priorities. REAP devotes most of its efforts to the people, policy and finance that are all necessary for renewable energy and energy efficiency (together, “clean energy”) to thrive in Alaska.
