Many of Alaska’s rural and remote communities are leading the way when it comes to evolving their local energy systems to be more efficient and renewably-powered. As Alaska’s Regional Partners for the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Technology Innovation Partnership Project (ETIPP) program, REAP’s Microgrid Project Managers are proud to help rural and remote communities across our state transform their energy systems and increase resilience through energy planning and deep-dive technical assistance.
With the application period now open for communities interested in joining Cohort 5, the ETIPP team has been sharing lots of information online and via informational webinars about the program itself. Against this backdrop, REAP Microgrid Project Managers, Haleigh Reed and Savannah Crichton, are keen to share some of their experiences and learnings gleaned from their community energy engagement work in communities across Alaska.
We hope you will join us for this final installment in REAP’s 2025 Spring Energy Speaker Series as Savannah and Haleigh share their tales from the (off)road through the lens of case studies from their work in communities throughout our state!
