Thank you to all the speakers, attendees, and sponsors of the 2022 Isolated Power Systems Connect conference held July 26-29, 2022, in Cordova, Alaska. This year’s conference was sponsored by Canary Labs, University of Alaska Fairbanks, Chugach Alaska Corporation, Epcon, Denali Commission, and the University of Tasmania Centre for Renewable Energy & Power Systems. The conference was hosted and organized by Cordova Electric Cooperative (CEC), Renewable Energy Alaska Project (REAP), and the Alaska Center for Energy and Power (ACEP).

Alaska is a world leader in the integration of renewables into remote grids and this four-day event brought together isolated grid experts from around the world, including Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Australia, Fiji, Samoa and Greenland. We shared success stories, heard about the latest developments in integration and technology, and discussed the opportunities and challenges facing remote grid operators. The conference also featured facility tours of Cordova’s pioneering microgrid.

Access the conference agenda here. Below you will find the linked presentations from each of our speakers and video recordings of each panel:
